I woke up early to find my husband sitting on the edge of the bed. He had a blood sugar crash and was heading into the kitchen to get s piece of peanut butter toast. I asked him if he wanted me to go fix him something and he said no and was okay.
I went back to sleep for about 40 minutes until Mr. Rooster started his Cocka-Doodle-Doo. It had already started raining lightly, so I decided to go ahead and start the feeding routine.
After the animals were fed, I walked the dog. He will never come right out of his kennel in the morning. It takes him a bit of time to wake up. Ha! He's always ready after I feed the chickens and cats though.
Since my hubby went back to sleep, I'm going to he here reading your discussions and catching my notifications up.
I hope everyone has a nice and blessed Sunday!

I hope he is okay now. I had a boring Sunday, but it was fine by me. Haha. It is Monday evening here, and I am about to hit the sack.

@wolfgirl569 That would be nice. Crossing my fingers for you! Thunderstorms are pretty much stalled and not here yet. Hope they dissipate before getting here!!

Leticia has the kind of diabees that needs a sugar lump nearby once in a while. I remember yesrs ago, I invited her to Aruba. We were downtown when she started getting angry about nothing and her skin got gray. I knew that we would not reach the apartment so I invited her for lunch. As we ate, color came up to her face again and she was her usual sunny way. After that I told her that she MUST have some hard candy to lick in those situations. Bread is not enough.

Yes, my first boss had that and needed that "crutch" with sugar often. Since my husband's sugar is usually high, these crashes need to be dealt with mainly protein. But in an emergency, sugar or candy can be a first start. Just too much sugar causes another rapid drop a couple of hours later. The protein holds you for a longer period of time. His go-to is a peanut butter sandwich, which gives him a bit of all three: sugar, carbs and protein.

I think it's a very lovely day, do you live in the farm? I think you are always having a peaceful morning specially on summer woth a lovely sunrise in the morning. I would love to wake up on that lovely day too.

Not a farm, but we do live in the country and have chickens. Fresh eggs are so much tastier and healthier than store bought eggs! Right now it is too cold here and I hate cold weather--too many aches and pains take affect with this weather. Spring and summer is nice here though.

I stayed in bed for an extra hour because they kept saying “the roads are treacherous, don’t go anywhere!” It wasn’t like I was going to venture out to begin with, but I watched the coverage before getting up and making lunch. I have infamous potato soup going in the crockpot right now.
