KIDS!!! Hubby messed the pellet burner up this morning by getting a pellet stuck in the hopper door. It has a safety switch there so stopped dropping pellets. That meant we had to wait through a shutdown. Of course then it fired up on its own. The igniter worked this time. 
It was only 13 f when I got up today. They keep changing how much snow we might get. Last night they said 2 to 4 inches. Now it's 1 to 2. That's better. But I would like none. So this is another hibernation day.
I am sure I will hide out in my escape room some today. Hope you have a good day.

I'm glad we didn't replace ours. I do not miss going to get pellets, unloading them and having to fill the hopper!!
I'm just waiting for the thunderstorms to start here. It's supposed to drop around noon. Almost time to go throw feed out for afternoon feeding (I'm not going out there in storm with tornado watch out and walk the dog.

@wolfgirl569 Exactly!! Have you checked into the diesel heaters? That is what we just bought and used the exhaust for the pellet heater for it. Easy installation!! The unit sits outside. That could be a problem, having to fill it back up in frigid weather and snow.

I wanted to put a propane heater there as I am tired of that stuff too. And we are not getting younger.

Well, I am glad to hear that the pellet burner is working. It's just too cold to have it throw a fit. We have some snow, not a lot yet, and more to come. It's winter, so I expect snow here off and on for that. I am glad you have your escape room to hide in, hope the critters are all behaving today!

Some dogs just love to play in the snow. Others hate it.
We got some snow today, now it's blowing so much I can't tell if it's still snowing or just getting blown around.

I don´t like snow at all. At my age, I cannot resist a temperature below 0° C outside. Fortunatly, we don´t have cold enough to have snow where I live. But when it is cold inside, I take out a fur coat that was my mother´s and wear it over wool sweaters and other warm clothes.
