A 'Thank you" to all writing Sites that pay

With more and more off line contacts disappearing be it family, neighbours and friends the one source where one can have social contacts are writing sites that pay.
It is not so much the money one earns but one gets an opportunity to have a social interaction.
Socialising is so imporotant as it helps keep dementia away. It also helps with improving one's memory as when we post, respond and comment we need to put on thinking cap
What say?

@allknowing It most definitely does. I do fear some relying too heavily on it when, if they really "need the money," as some say, there are far more productive ways to get it that pay much more. If they "really" needed the money, this is not the way they'd be getting at it. lol

We all need to socialize and online is one of my favorite ways to do it, very low stress.

@allknowing That is true too, and it is interesting to talk to people from other parts of the world.

I've loved "socializing" online from before I was ever on myLot. It fills a certain void in my life . . . one could say at times it's been like "therapy". Here we can have friends and read viewpoints from around the world - that's pretty neat!

I call it therapy too. As socialising is more a need than just a fun provider.

The administration advisory of myLot says we cannot talk about earning sites of any kind.
I wish we could talk about them though. I am interested in writing sites and sites to sell photos. I don't know where to find these conversations if we can't talk about it here.
I do love this site and the friends I made here. You all are a great bunch and I value you greatly. I also appreciate the administration.

I believe so. And I really thinks the penny we earned no matter how small it helps to add up to the money for paying the bills.

I agree with all your points. Sites like this one are especially important for those lonely people who are all alone, are elderly, and enjoy the art of communicating with others. It provides an outlet really for anyone to be able to express themselves, follow interesting posts, develop online friendships, and learn share about new things.
The income is secondary to the experiences gained. Money is spent and gone, but the interaction is priceless!

In today's world young or old everyone is confined to their own space mostly online and they are not available for any interaction off line

Not real sure if it improves one's memory or not
but it does keep our minds interested in things
that others talk about & make new friends.

That every day interaction requiring some element of thiknking does keep our brain active When you hardly have anyone off line to talk to or write to surely this helps

Well, there are sites which pay and do not pay. Luckily Mylot pays. Our memory and being mentally active is one of the good things with writing sites , although thats a by product and not the actual intention of writing sites. The payment are usually low especially now. From what I understand Mylot used to be paying well some time ago and there was some earning potential as well. Most writing sites like engaging content and that what they promote. And indirectly it helps many and get them virtual friends and family. Finding happiness and content in virtual world are all fine. Well, enjoy the time!

Is there other sites that pay? can you share it to me via PM? because right now nothing stands against mylot, which had been around for more than a decade.
