Cold and Snowy Monday

Happy Monday everyone! it's cold and snowing here this morning. For a change we're not getting too much snow but the areas south of us are definitely getting quite a bit.
Today is a perfect day to relax, watch the snow fall and enjoy my morning coffee.
It's also the perfect day for soup and I'm already thinking tomato soup and grilled cheese for lunch. I also have some leftover chili so it will be toss-up which I decide to have when lunchtime rolls around.
All the holiday decorations are put away and today is the last day for the Christmas tree. I'm really going to miss it as I love the ambience of the lights especially on a gloomy day like today.
Aside from the usual things to do around the house I don't have anything specific planned.

Just working online and trying to stay warm. I have been eating a lot of soup I think today I will have a tuna melt for lunch.

@Marilynda1225 It was pretty good. I seem to always have tuna I need to use, as I open the can for Nico so he can drink the liquid. Oddly, he only likes the tuna in water not the one in oil.

It sounds like a beautiful day there. Are you making me jealous? We don't have snow on the ground right now, though it was promised.
It's always a sad day when you put away the Christmas decorations. Just don't put Christmas away. Hold it in your heart every day.

I really thought you would have snow there. Its miserable here today more from the bitter cold than the snow.

@Marilynda1225 It's been too cold to snow. We've had sunny cloudless skies which makes it colder. There's snow in the forecast. I need to see it come about.

We lucked out today that the storm is more south of where I am but now it looks like another possible snow storm coming on Saturday.
How's your weather there? I always imagine it to be gorgeous and tropical

Due to repair of public water pipes, our apartment does not have water supply almost the whole day, from 10 am to 6 pm. So inconvenient...

I spilt a cup of hot milk all over the floor this morning so I'll mop the floor later. I don't want the place smelling of sour milk. My clothes are already in the wash and my crocs have been washed too.

I love grilled cheese and tomato soup! What kind of cheese do you use on it?
Lights on the tree when the room is dark looks so beautiful especially if snow is falling outside behind our tree.
My little one woke up grumpy wanted to lay around and read and then cuddle and she fell asleep. I think she’s caught what my husband and I have.

I worked today, it was a really busy day, but it flew by and I went over to see the girls after work, which was alot of fun. They like to play pretend so today we played school, although at only 2 yrs of age, they still have a long ways to go until it isn't pretend school.
