6 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from cold and windy Green Bay, Wisconsin. I don't think we reached our high of 27 F. I've only seen 22 F and 24 F on the computer and on my phone. There's also been a brisk wind making it feel colder.
Today was a good day. I did everything I planned to do and went with my next-door neighbor to take care of things she needed doing.
I'm thankful I worked on the notifications for Word Press and here this morning. I'm trying to get off the sites by 8 and work on my books. I did that this morning. 
I'm thankful I got work done on Faith to Believe this morning before my neighbor asked me if I would go with her to take care of things. I also wanted a new pair of gloves as I lost one glove while walking last week. It might be on the trail. The last time I walked the trail was the 31st of December. I found a nice pair at Walgreens.
I'm thankful for the episode of FBI I watched when I got home. It was just what I needed as I watched it for research for Faith to Believe. I wanted to make certain I got some facts straight. I shouldn't rely on television programs, but they've gotten more authentic in recent years.
I'm thankful for the short nap I got this afternoon. I was falling asleep on the computer again.
I'm thankful I have a new microwave today. As slow as our management and maintenance are, I was surprised I got a new one before I moved out. No, I don't know when that will be yet.
I'm thankful I have the notifications finished for today. Time for some R&R. I also need to read the first chapter in the new book for Bible study tomorrow. We're studying The Awe of God by John Bevere.

The weather outside was cold with the temperature around 40 degrees F. I enjoyed my visit with my mental health doctor this afternoon.

That’s a great feeling getting everything done that you want to in a day.
Lucky to get the new microwave but the next person to move in will get to enjoy it after.
I’m thankful my husband bought a bottle of NyQuil so hopefully he can sleep through the night tonight without coughing all night. This sickness whatever it is has been hanging on a long time I feel bad for him.

Thank you. It is a good feeling when everything gets done. Yes, I suspect the next person who moves in here will use it more than I will. I have my own microwave. I had it before I moved in here.

Well, you've been busy. It's been warmer here. About averaging in the 40s. Not much snow here. It's nice that we are in valley, most of the stuff accumulates in the mountains. Sounds like you are getting a lot done on your writing. ??.

That is really cold, we saw about mid 30s here. Better than being super cold.

@just4him Oh sheesh that's cold! So glad we haven't had many days that cold yet...we are in the low 30s and that is cold enough

I'm thankful that it was decent out today. I'm glad George agreed to go outside. He kind of wasn't interested and then he was. It's a bit of a surprise. I've been trying to get him to take better of himself, but I'm just thankful we're home and it's been a year since we've been in the hospital or rehab.

I am thankful that I almost got everything I needed to do too. I had a phone call to make, I did the laundry, wrote a email, and worked on my best friend's diamond painting.

Seems like you had a great day. I was busy with my work as usual. There were few errands to run in middle of the day but still managed things. It is going to be busy from now on . The temperature is getting warm as the day progresses till evening and well I did watch a rerun of the Mentalist . I like some of the mind reading concepts and logic. I did not get time much to talk to others , perhaps will have the calls returned on weekend. Have to complete few things in next 2 days . However , I am grateful to get back slowly onto things and be at peace most times with myself and work on things. Take care!

I was thankful the power stayed on.so far anyway. It is going to be brutally cold at night for several days with the kind of cold we rarely get here I think I heard them say the last time it was this. Cold was 2011. It looks like after the snow the winds will pick up a bit and could cause trouble Glad you got a new microwave. I would hate to be without mine
