My whole world fell apart. But then I put it back together, piece by piece.

Missed you guys!
The outdoorsy living quarters I had all set up for myself turned out to be a disaster. Parents moved into a nearby house as planned, I was finally living on my own with the only 2 cats I have left from the entire cat fam (they just got older and passed away.) I only have the 2 brothers left now.
And then everything started falling apart. Beginning with the wooden bridge.
Drafty inside my new place, constant chill in the air, couldn’t breathe very well for some reason, (dust? mold?) Ended up in Urgent Care twice for pneumonia that couldn’t clear, then Strep, constantly sick. I’m on my last antibiotic in the bottle and I’ll be glad to finish this second round.
Ended up in crappy upstairs bedroom back with my parents, only for the sake of my own health. We’re in Ira, kinda around New Haven for my Michigander friends on here. Out in the middle of nowhere.
Job I was working online got really slow, the whole site got slow with bugs and problems.
Didn’t know what to do about anything, just knew I didn’t wanna end up living in a bedroom again.
Turned things around, had no choice. Wrote out an entire plan, step by step. It was hard, esp being so sick. Took on a new job working for my brother, advertising job. 
I like it.
Still have almost everything packed in boxes because this is not my final destination.
Currently apartment-hunting. I’m done with the rural life. I’m not even healthy here.
So that’s about it.
How have you all been?
I understand if this doesn’t get many responses because I haven’t been on here in ages. But I still love and miss you guys and just wanted to say hey.
And the only thing I love in this shoebox of a room is my ladybug collection. Started with one on the window, then I guess she had some friends. They love brown sugar water and cilantro. See pic if interested.

Hey girly! I am feeling better, took last antibiotic and did a little toast with my sparkling water and said Here’s to good health.
In other words: Pneumonia, don’t you DARE come back.
I’m doing better in this room. Even though I hate this room.

Things are getting better, yes. Apartment search is fun, but then sometimes you get tired out. I never know when to stop and say that’s enough for today. Workin’ on it. :) Thank you and love the snowman profile pic.

@grenery8 You’ve got that right. The one thing that bothers me most is when they want first month’s rent right at the beginning. For what? I haven’t even lived there yet.
Or $500 deposit upfront for 2 senior cats. Umm they’re not gonna climb the walls and trash the place. They’re not drunken teenagers on Spring Break.

Aww thank you DB! It’s so nice to see you here. Happy to report that the last round of antibiotics kicked pneumonia’s butt and I’m hoping it won’t return, and apartment search is finally narrowing down.
It’s between 2 places, Harrison Twp which I am not too familiar with, and good old Chesterfield where I came from. Same price for both, very reasonable price, perfect for me & my 2 cats. Now it just comes down to which one calls me first. On waitlist for both. Thanks again and glad you’re still around. :)

I am so sorry that you have been unwell. I am proud of you for staying resilient even when your body was aching from sickness. I am certain things will turn out better with time and you will get back on your feet bigger and better.

Drinking lots of decaf helps the throat and lungs. Did you see my ladybugs? I have one that is determined to share my coffee with me. What a goofball. Hold on, let me see if I can find pic.

I actually do know where New Haven is, we used to cross at Algonac for day trip shopping, as well I have cousins that live in NH.
Now that you have a new job and determination, I hope that every day gets a little bit better than the day before.

@Melanie_Marie it has been my experience that there are alot of really good people in that area.
You will know when you find the right place, be it in New Haven or somewhere else.
The main thing is to keep yourself well, and find your happy place again in life.

I like New Haven. I got caught there during a tornado warning once even before we moved out here to Ira. Ended up at this truck stop/gas station/McDonald’s and the whole thing was just really cool. Nice people. Was even checking out an apartment today in New Haven, it was exactly 5 mins from my usual favorite shopping places back home. Didn’t do the inside tour, though. Not yet.
