Very Cold Today

All of this cold had caught up with itself and not warming up much at all today. It didn't make it to the freezing mark of 32 until after noon today and it was still registering a 26 degree temperature with the wind chill. Duke has been in his kennel, the Hilton Hotel, on the back porch since earlier this morning when he demanded to go out. So we put him in the kennel on the porch. He has not come out of there since! He loves his kennel. But he also does not care for cold winter or high winds. I thought he was going to come out once earlier but when he got his face out and felt the cold air, he ducked back inside. He's no dummy! I'm taking a little break and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I need to get the dishwasher running before the sun goes down and temps start dropping again. We have tonight and tomorrow night for sure to go through low 20s and I've already had enough. Just dealing with the weather and animals here. And that is taking longer than normal due to the weather. How is your day going or if you are on the other side--How was your day today?
