The turtle hatcheries in Bentota in Sri Lanka is a revolution

January 8, 2025 8:02pm CST
Sri Lanka had been successful in propagating turtles. In Bentota there is a lovely turtle hatchery that has really made a mark. The baby turtles are brought and there are small water bodies in which they are propagated. The large animals cannot feed on them. Now the population of turtles have increased.

That is wonderful that the turtles are thriving there and the population has increased due to the effort there at the hatchery!
