I have seen the devastation in California due to the recent wildfire, which I've heard is still burning by the way.
It's absolutely heartbreaking, and I hope residents from the affected areas have evacuated and found refuge.
If you're reading this and have contacts from the areas, check in on them.

Is it really heartbreaking, though? I mean, I genuinely feel for the people who have lost their homes. At the same time, it's liberal policies that cause these fires. California, decades ago, ceased forest management due to idiotic "environmental" concerns, and as a result, there's tons of underbrush that does not get removed, catches fire and burns. The solution is simple. Return to proper forest management and people don't have to suffer the consequences of wildfires.
