Good but painful morning.

I say painful because Iwant to chop offmy leg above the knee. While it's not that cold (49) My right leg is killing me and Ihave laundry to switch over. We had a long night. As I knew we would. We had a longer then expected day. I'm glad we have the sun at least it'll feel less miserable but the garage is concreate so that's where the feeling comes from.
George has had his med (exept his inhaler) And, I've had breakfast and took something for my leg. And now I'm off my leg. At least I only have to go out twice more, and the dryer should provide some warmth when it gets going.

@luisadannointed When you live with this kind of thing for as long as I have, it becomes a part of you. You learn to work around it and when to take meds and what meds to take.

I do. I just do so sparingly because they can be hard on the liver and they can loose their effectivness if you make a habit out of it. I have one strong pain med I take, but I only take it when I have a few hours to spare where I don't have to use my leg because it makes me tired.

@porwest I know. I rarely use them. I only do it when the pain is so great that I can't use my leg as in this morning's case. And it's always the lowest dose of over-the counter pain meds. I don't think I've gotten into the prescription stuff in a while. And I really do that when I know I can stay off the leg for a long time.

I'm sorry you have such bad leg pain. Being in pain just isn't fun. Glad you had medication for it, that helps, I'm sure.

No it's not. It's chronic and it hurts on a near-daily basis. I often rotate between pain and not really feeling my leg at all.

I don't have any. The closest I've got is the lavender cent in my lotion or the hand soap I've been buying.

Usually a hot bath does wonders. Because it's my hole leg a heating pad or hot water bottle won't cover enough.

Sorry about your leg and I hope it feels much better soon, I get stabbed by my sciatica in the cold weather, Major problem here for the first time Chewy hasn't come through, I have torn paper in their litter box now and keep mixing it up and Freddie is not happy, Tish takes it ne her stride, Chatted with Chewy people and they said Fed Ex was running behind due to the holidays and the weather but my package should be on the way, If not soon then I have not idea what to do, At least they know it is Fed Ex problem and told me they will reimburse me $10.

I rarely feel THAT bad but usually feel better when I say that. I kind of expected the pain even with raising the heat in our house. My body still responds to weather changes even if I don't step foot outside.
