Why does news radio consider it news that Lily Allen and her husband have separated? I don’t need to know that. It’s simply not newsworthy. I have every sympathy with the pair, but do they really need to publicise it? She sings songs I think.
This, I fear, is part of being a celebrity, and they just love every minute of it. A bit like Harry and Megan - they both decry and lust after publicity and so many folk fall for it.
We really should starve them of the oxygen that is publicity.
