Today's Plans

I have one plan for today: get my hair done. I'm leaving in a few minutes to do just that. However, my day is more than getting my hair done. I watched President Jimmy Carter's funeral this morning. The eulogies by his grandsons were moving. He had an amazing life of service to God, his wife, his family, and this country. When I leave here in a few minutes, I'll also be going to Hy-Vee to pick up two things I need that didn't even get a thought when I went there on Tuesday - rice and dish soap. So, I'll get those. I should be back by three easily. It's 1:38 right now and my appointment is at 2:15. I'll try to work on a book when I get home and catch up with notifications. We'll see how it all works out.
