Happy 2025 everybody! I miss posting discussions here so I will start again now. Last December 28 our elementary school had a grand alumni homecoming. It is our school's 123rd year to be exact. My grandmother and her sister used to teach elementary students there when they were still alive. My mom and her sister and tgeir brother went there too and some cousins and relatives. They paid tribute to all the teachers who have taught there and I became teary eyed because my grandmother's picture was always flashing on the video they made. I miss her so much . I belong to the Batch 1994 and its good to see my batchmates and classmates again. Our town mayor now graduated from the same school too and thats why He made a simple cash donation to help the school and the teachers. It was a very memorable and fun night . We ate and danced like before . We saw some teachers too and there were the new ones, the younger ones.. Current students performed a heartfelt song and there were decade dances they made so that everyone will dance hahaha.. For our batch , it is after 30 years I guess since we bond and saw each other. I hope when another reunion plans every batchmates will attend. With your age right now , do you enjoy reunions? Are you excited to bond with former classmates or schoolmates?

That sounds like a nice little celebration and reunion. We haven't had a class reunion lately. And we didn't go to our last one that was held. Just wasn't interested.

@iKONICNoona We had some very arrogant and uppity people in our graduating class and I have (or my husband) no desire to mingle with them.

That sounds like a wonderful get together! I’m so glad you got to attend. The school I graduated from no longer exists, but I do keep in touch with several students, and even a couple of the teachers. One is from The Philippines, and I saw her a couple of months ago. She just got her Masters at the age of 55, and was so excited.
