It didn't happen

Regardless of what the weather service said, the snow last night did not happen. Maybe we got a little freezing rain, but if so it was not much.
There was ice on the windshield of the van, and the windows, but it was not much, and it was quickly dissipated by the defrost.
We got up, went to church, and drove around the city of Newton on the interstate to get to Walmart for a few necessary items, including bananas. People who live in Newton said not to drive through town, the roads were a mess and dangerous.
We had a taco luncheon at church and so we did not have to worry about a noon meal. I am cooking sausage gravy to serve over baked potatoes tonight, with a side of glazed carrots. It should be yummy.
Roads around here are really clear, even the roundabout. I guess I am set to work tomorrow.

I'm glad the roads are clear. The streets I can see from the house are clear here, too.
It's suppose to only be up to freezing tomorrow. Drive carefully and have a good day.

We were supposed to get snow. It came very lightly and had disappeared in less than an hour.

Took days for the roads to clear here. I'm glad you got no snow.
