Cricket on the beach is fun

Spending an evening on the beach is lovely and to top it, we decided to play some beach cricket with a bat and tennis ball. We had to bowl full tosses as the ball would not bounce and then hit it high so we could dive and catch the ball. No rules, except to have fun. It was exhausting and we loved it.

I miss those times. No rules but fun. Especially in beach cricket , most times we get to hit the ball.So pleasure is in getting the batsman out. Prefer by catch as some diving catch would be fun. But run out are also possible. When we used to play we kind of used the hong kong sixes rule- after a certain score the batsman is retired so as to give others the chance. It is to bat once the sun is really set and it would not be really dark , but still the lights would not good enough to play.Well , you had a great time. I just had a normal weekday and well then have a great day ahead!
