It is it just me or is America becoming unaffordable to live in?
It seems like the more money I make, the more taxes they take out while the cost of living and everyday necessities keeps getting more expensive.
Yesterday I had my Mom and sister over visiting and decided to make an order on Insta Cart since I didn’t want to step out to grab a few things.
As I’m reviewing my order and looking into pass orders, I realized that almost everything in my cart that I ordered months back are now 25 percent more expensive.
Something needs to change or I’m going to be working till I’m 85 just to survive and pay taxes smh.
Anyone else feel the same?

@AmbiePam Somehow or other places like Starbucks have to stop wasting so much food. I bet most of the restaurants and such waste a bunch of edibles- half an order of french fries are left on the table so toss them into the garbage. Those fries could at least feed pigs. The U S wastes too much food.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I agree. On many things we get less and it’s not as good as it once was.

Instacart charges a fee so maybe it’s tacked on to each item? The prices of everything has gone up so much though it’s really terrible and making it hard for the average Joe to make it in life. Sad for young people starting out with how high rent is and how expensive all products are.

Everything has gone up in price and not even by a little. Grocery shopping for me has become a challenge with trying to find ways to cut back and stay within a budget. If the prices in the supermarket aren't going up then the size of the package has shrunk. It's a no win situation.

Cost of living and prices are spiraling everywhere across the globe. For example; when I was a college; the train ticket was available to that town was only INR 1.05. Now I can get it for INR 30. Thirty times more.
