13 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a wild ride. The temperatures are in the single digits with negative windchills in the double digits.
Good evening from a cold, breezy Green Bay, Wisconsin.
I'm thankful for the time I could be here today. I enjoy seeing what you're doing in your world.
I'm thankful I can help my friend today by watching her dog, Sammy. I'm also watching Missy tonight. Sammy's mom needed to go to the hospital today. Her sister is passing. For the most part, Sammy has been good. He has separation anxiety, so does a lot of barking with my friend gone.
With watching Sammy, I haven't been able to work on a book as I planned. However, even with a change of plans, it has been a good day.

Sammy is a cute little fellow! I'm glad your day turned out okay, even with the twist of plans!
I'm thankful that the sun was shining for most of the day today. It did go back into hiding around 2:30 pm today, but we had it for most of the day! Also temperature was a bit higher today also. Now we are back to the big freeze and back into the 20's tonight. I think we have had enough of this cold-cold stuff. Let's get on with Spring!

I think when the temperature rises to the 20s I'll take a walk on the trail. It will feel like a heat wave after the severely cold temps we've been having for the past week. We get two days in the 20s by the weekend and then another week in the deep freeze.

Yes, it's cold. We're at 0 right now and the feels like is in the negative. I wish it were 27. We won't get that high today.

@just4him 27 is freezing enough... I hope we don't see those negative temps, but it's getting colder here. Today was only 22 this morning.

Sorry about your friend's loss.
I'm thankful lastnight turned out better then I could've hoped. I'm thankfuk the dog that found its away into our yard didn't attack George or I. That he's real friendly and the cops got him withou him getting hurt.

Thank you. She's still hanging on, but they don't expect for too much longer. Her son is flying in today.

Jim is in Wisconsin I guess. Well, I am thankful for my new smartwatch which I got today. So better tracking of my health and my other errands. Again , I am grateful , I was able to complete some of the key tasks for the day . That helps to clear few things as part of getting ready for the busy season. I am also thankful for the weather - it is better than where I had my vacation. It is cool at morning and night and slight warm late evening and afternoon. So thats good weather for now. I also ned to organize my goals and work towards improving my productivity. I am sorry for Sammy and hopefully he will recover. Take care!
