Today's trip to the little Tesco. (14/1/2025)

I went to the little Tesco again this morning. I was a bit late getting up so I wss a bit late going out to the shop too. My Mum gave me her shopping list, club card and money. She said she really needs a new club card because hers is coming apart at the seams, but I said I think they might not give the cards out anymore, they might do it digitally. I said as long as the bar code on the back is intact it should be OK. I knew it would be cold out, so I put my gloves on. I took them off when I got in the shop and put them in my coat pockets. I got the TV magazines as usual, some chocolate croissants for my Mum and Syd for their supper tonight, a bounty bar for Syd and a mini vegan kit kat for me! Then I got some green grapes and some strawberries. I went and got some Alpen cereal with no added sugar for my Mum, then I went and got 2 bottles of milk. I got some honey roast peanuts from the shelf on the corner just before you go round to the till, and then I waited in a very short queue to go to the till. When the lady was scanning the things, and I was putting them in the trolley, my mini vegan kit kat wouldn't scan! She had to scan it 3 times before it would work! It came to just over £17. I put my gloves back on and set off for home. When I got home I gave my Mum her change, club card and shopping list. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away, and I showed Mum the mini vegan kit kat that I'd got. Then I watched the end of Homes Under the Hammer (I'd missed the start of it because of being late going to the shop), and I had my lunch while looking at one of the TV magazines. I had a banana, a packet of meat free bites and the mini vegan kit kat! What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.
