Well, it was a good morning. Now happy afternoon.

Late last night, the cops came and got the dog that wondered in our yard. George is taking his medicine, which I gave him on time. We went to bed a little early fr us, so we managed to get a decent night's sleep. After several days on very little sleep I think we managed to make out pretty well. I have my brunch in the microwave and it'll be decent out.
I am thankful that the rain we did get last night was light. I think it kept the dog on the porch making it easier for the cops to come get him. I of course, had to help the officer because the dog wanted nothing to do with it. Well, the dog did growl at him. The first one actually left to get a catch pole. And, a second came. The second one had dog treats and was able to coax the dog to the car and picked him up. I feel bad about having to involve the cops, but at the same time He was a good side and pretty young pitbull. That scares a lot of people. And, while the dog was way to friendly with me, it could attack if provoked. Thankfully he didn't want anything to do with the walker, so I got George safely inside last night.
The sun is out now so that's a good thing.

He looked well cared for, so I think he might have an owner. He actually let me check his ears for a stamp.

Glad you got the dog herded. Sounds like a good day and night's sleep. That's always nice.

I think that's okay to involved the cops, dogs can be dangerous specially when they thought they are in danger, specially when they were abandoned. I hope she will find a new home soon.

He is safe. The police took good care of him. They just don't like dealing with dogs because unlike humans they can't just cuff them if they do wrong.

I kind of had to help because they didn't want to approach the dog.

Nice to know that there was rain in your area and that the dog did attack you since there is a dog in the neighborhood who is a mixed breed sheepdog and German Shepherd that is friendly when I feed him food for dinner outside.

You did a right thing to get the cops involved and take the dog. They can be dangerous and attack if provoked. I am happy that you could go to bed early and catch up with the sleep. Have a good day ahead

Yeah, I know we had a lot of cats and dogs growing up. I've also been attacked by my sister's dog. So I know any wrong sudden move could spell disaster. I'm more than thankful George wasn't hurt throughout the exchange. Can't say the same for me.

@kaylachan I am allergic to cats. And more than being allergic to cats, I am terrified of them. I have been attacked by cats twice in my growing up years for no fault of mine. That has instilled a huge fear in me. I change my way if I see a cat. I always had dogs as my pet. But still I can't trust if it's not my pet and not with the owner. I am cautious.

I still feel bad for calling the non-emergency number and pestering the police, but I have to put safety first.

I'm not afraid of dogs, but after dealing with my sister's dog, Sugar, I've learned to be extra cautous.

You did the right thing. They’ll be able to take the dog to a shelter, so they can see if the dog is microchipped.

Glad they took the dog away and I hope they find out where it lives, I hope you both had a good day and will have a relaxing evening, I went out to the convenience store this afternoon and it sure was a chilly two blocks to walk and coming back the wind blew right at me SiGH At this rate I won't emerge again until spring,

If it was just me, maybe. But, George. No. I didn't want him hurt.

It sounds like you had a pretty decent time. I'm sorry about the dogs. I'm glad they were picked up though. We have some that run around my house and I'm always worried about my cats since they're outside cats.

I am glad you got help for the dog. It sounds like it was scared. Hopefully, it had been microchipped and not dumped.
