Hello everyone!!
Hope you all are good.
On 13th of January. I celebrated an Indian festival "lohri" with my family and friends.
Lohri is mainly a punjabi festival and It is celebrated on 13th of January every year.
This year lohri is special because it is my first festival after my marriage.
So we invited a lot of relatives and friends at our place to celebrate lohri.
We ate together, danced together and enjoy a lot on this lohri.
We lit the fire together and also ate popcorn, peanut and rewari.
We have a great get together at this lohri.

First of all; wish you and all your family and friends a very very happy lohri.
Here we celebrate Lohri as "Makar Sankranti.".
I'm planning to go to Prayagraj to have a Holy dip in the Sangam. You know Mahakumbh is being celebrated there. I don't want to miss the opportunity. The next Mahakumbh will come after 144 years. This time it is a one- off moment. I don't want to miss it. Two months back I had been to Ayodhya. I will visit Ayodhya again to have a darshan there.

@ekta54 Wish you and your family a very very happy and safe journey.
But my problem is my store. It will take me at least a week to be back. Till then there is no one to manage the shop. My father is old and weak.Still I'm trying to find a way out.

Well, that sounds like you had a great time. I was not aware that Lohri was always on the same date every year. I thought it would change slightly by a day every year. 14th was holiday for most of South India. So , in a way it was a long weekend. Some relaxation in a way. I had meetings to attend plus some work to complete. As per the calendar , the next holiday would be in May , so it was something to cherish for some time. I could do things in a relaxed way. Plus as usual spend some time here at mylot and comment on the discussions. Well, hope you had a great time with friends and family. Enjoy the time!
