Got a scare this morning, as my phone had difficulty starting. I think it is time to shop for a new one. This has been a great phone and I have hhave had no complaints about it. However, nothing lasts forever. I guess I better get one while this is still working. I wouldn't mind a new version of the same exact phone, or if they have a newer larger version even if it costs a few dollars more, I will get it. Sometimes though as we know the "new improved version" is worse than the old one. Hmm, we will see, I will have to read the reviews.

I ordered a newer slightly larger version of the same phone. It has 4.8 stars so I think it will be good. This new phone comes with a stylus, haven't used one with a phone before. We will have to see how that goes.

@LadyDuck Yeah, I like the phone I have, and will probably keep it as a back up. Just in case..or I could sell it. I could have traded this in, to get money off the new phone purchase, but I didn't want to deal with that. You know how when you get a new phone you can transfer the apps and the data plan and so forth? I find that not all the apps transfer. I still have some on my old phone I got before this that I use. Maybe it will be the same with this one.

@snowy22315 - I have a 4 years old Huawei that I like a lot, I bought a new one (Redmi), but I still like a lot more my old one.

I did the same thing as long as it’s working you can transfer your info. Most of my info isn’t backed up on the iCloud as it’s too full but thankfully I was able to transfer the info from my old phone to this one by syncing it when it was next to it.

Yeah that type of thing doesn't work quite as well as it should..but you can usually get them there to the new phone one way or another.

Yes, I got a slightly newer, "improved" version of the one I have now. It has 4.8 stores so it should be good. this one comes with a stylus though. I have never used one of those with a phone.

I don't mind that much especially if the replacement is better. It is kind of a hassle though

It's probably a good idea to check into a new one before yours doesn't work at all. It's hard to remember the old days when we didn't have cell phones. It boggles my mind how we existed without one.

Yeah, those and microwaves! With everything requiring so much security these days we really need cells to get text messages, as well as quick communications.
