I watched an interesting stream on a new channel I found on YouTube last night. It's a young podcaster telling stories about cults, murders, and weird stuff. She's kooky and fun. But this story is bizarre. This town in Alaska is now abandoned after several of its inhabitants lost their lives in weird ways. There have been hundreds of stories of encounters with a huge, hairy creature deep in the forest of Alaska since the 1930s. Stories about what they called a famous Sasquatch-like creature known to the locals as Nantiinaq. He was the area's best-known cryptid. Loggers were killed and in one instance a huge piece of logging equipment had been picked up and used to kill the man. Another account was of tall pines being uprooted turned upside down and pushed back into the holes. Who or what could do that? Another logger had his head bashed into some logging equipment and his body was found ten feet away from the equipment. The spirit of a woman dressed in black carrying a white figure behind her was also blamed for the murders in the area. She had a white face and would scream and moan uncontrollably. The story sounds interesting. But I try to stay clear of such spooky stories unless I have some good company to watch it with. I get scared if alone
