My Trip to the Phillipines is Cancelled

I’m in Houston Texas USA
After a very long delay last night they canceled our flight to San Francisco because of a crack in the plane windshield. That made us miss our connection to Manila which would make us miss our ship
Normally we fly a day early but we had no control over our flights because the crude line booked them included in our cruise fare
So the airline out us to in a crappy hotel for the night and this morning we’ll be flying back home
No birthday trip for me
I’m very disappointed

No but I have travel insurance. The travel industry has you by the short hairs

@LooeyVille Ugh. Sounds like a nightmare, and I would guess the travel insurance doesn't cover 100%?

@porwest I'll be working on figuring up the total losses today and tomorrow and we'll see what insurance covers.

@looeyville That’s so disappointing and beyond. At least you won’t be blown to smithereens in a plane with a defective windscreen.
