Just can't win

I finally. finally!, get a dental appointment (1pm today) and it's snowing (and blowing) again. It's not really that far, but I can no longer take a short cut through the churchyard due to construction, and as I said before, my walker doesn't have snow tires... And anyway, I can't hold on to an umbrella and the walker at the same time.
I suppose I could call a taxi, but I'm cheap. I don't like paying for two short taxi rides-- there and then back again when in pleasant weather I could walk the shortish distance.
I have 2 hours to decide what to do.

Rescheduled to next Tuesday. Hopefully, the weather improves by then.

So what did you decide to do? It is kind of like me needing to walk over to the bus stop for the kids in town if I cannot use my car. It is either that or take paid time off.

Eventually... It's supposed to get up to +3°C today (Friday) but that's a lot of snow to melt.
