It is only 42F outside but that is cold for us. We are going to go to Costco to get the supplies that we ran out of. Everything from last time lasts three months so that is not bad. We got gas for the month on the first so I am hoping the gas lasts a month. When we take our friend to the Doctor we get a voucher from his insurance company so we always go to his gas station to fill the car. That was half way through last month so we did good on gas. So I hopefully will be back on when we get back. I have to go to the Duck pond afterwards to feed the ducks. I got a new bag of duck food for them.

Its 39 and cloudy way up here to the north of you. I love that you feed ducks. I should go to Safeway today.

It is now 45F. We just got home and my husband wants to go get chicken at KFC. So I guess we are leaving again.

@jstory07 I know. I lived in a place where ducks would walk int our apartments if we weren't careful.

Lately the temperature gap is a bit big here. Today it is about 6-20 centigrades. So when there is sunshine in daytime, it will be warm. It'll be cold at night and early morning. That's lots of fun to feed ducks. I remember one night my husband and I had a walk after dinner. We saw a homeless cat in a park and I wanted to feed this cat food, but that cat was not interested at all. That's a little embarrassing

@jstory07 This cat got close to me and according to my experience, this cat was not afraid of me. Perhaps there was an old lady fed them and this cat got used to her food rather than mine. You know cats are so picky

I rarely complain about heat, not having a cooler to help bring down those 100+ temps is something I complain about

I forgot to send it my paper from last month so I won’t be getting cd a mileage reimbursement check . You must not drive much for a tank of gas to last a month. That’s incredible the food you buy on one shopping trip will last you three months.

I bought some bird seed. I haven't used my bird feeder for a few years because I didn't want to attract bears. I hope it is still back there. I am taking a risk, but We still have some snow on the ground, and we might get a bit more on Sunday. However, I have the feeling the squirrels will probably help themselves to most of the seed.

That's nice to know, the gas is really expensive, it is a good thing you have a voucher. And it is good of you to help your friend visit a doctor. have a great day!

Sounds like a busy but productive day! 42°F does feel pretty chilly, especially if you're not used to it. Stocking up at Costco for three months is impressive—it really helps save time and effort. That’s smart planning with the gas, too. Feeding the ducks sounds like such a peaceful way to wrap up the errands. They’re lucky to have you! Stay warm and enjoy your day. ??

It does because of the voucher we get from my friend's insurance company for taking him places like his Doctor's appointments and to get his scripts plus the grocery store. We have to go to a certin gas station to use it. But that is ok.
