I actually finished lunch a couple of hours ago, and had a tuna melt It was quite good. I will make a curried soup for supper. It is a delicious recipe Fortunately, it makes quite a bit so hopefully I will have some left when the very cold weather hits next week.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a tuna melt before.

I made homemade spit pea soup. Haven't had it in a long time and it was good. Hit the spot.

I love split pea soup too. I have half a can of the Progresso version in the fridge. Their split pea is perfect, best I ever had..better to me than homemade.

Tuna melt sounds delicious. I've been craving for food yesterday as I can't taste much except for sweet and salty

I had rice with curry for lunch. Interestingly the temperature today has decreaed to aroun 19C and well it stayed in that range for most of the day. A few years ago , this would have been the temperature from Oct till Mid Jan. Now it seems , it came late. Considering the various reports from other parts of world , felt the cold conditions have rather been late this time and has been a bit more in certain places like Florida. Anyways , any delays to hot summer or anything that helps in getting the water levels better is always welcome. Well, hope you are having a good time. Have a great weekend!

You know, I have very rarely had curry, and I know it is good. I may try to make a simple one. I would like to try a coconut curry. I love coconut.

@RevivedWarrior I don't mind a little spice, but something that is super hot, you are right I am not going to like. Sis once had an Indian boyfriend, and we went to his place for dinner one time. His roommate was also Indian. The food was unpalatable. We ate some, but found it hard to choke it down. They were a bit disappointed..saying we backed down on the spices for you..

My little one wanted chicken nuggets and fries for breakfast but I wouldn’t let her. She had a meltdown and went to sleep until 11 then woke up and it was time enough for lunch so she got chicken nuggets and fries. The first batch fell on the floor while she was eating them so the dog got them. The second batch she ate.

That sounds good, I so love having tuna melt. I had leftovers, a little slice of plain quiche and a slice of black forest ham.
