Dear Amazon. Please do better.

I need to address something that’s been incredibly frustrating: Amazon Prime's promise of two-day shipping seems like a joke at this point. I had an order that was supposed to arrive on Tuesday, but it didn’t show up. Then, I received an email stating it was delivered yesterday—only for it to not be anywhere in sight. I had ordered a shirt for Chris from one of his favorite TV shows, something I’d been on the hunt for for MONTHS. It was pushed back three times for delivery, which was my first major annoyance. When we checked the mail and found nothing, that became my second issue with Amazon. After making sure it wasn’t misplaced in another mailbox, I reached out to customer support to report the missing package, only to be told I had to wait until 7 PM tonight to officially report it. Seriously, Amazon? Your tracking said delivered as of yesterday. We have a camera monitoring our package drop box and mailbox, and it would have captured any delivery. Why do I have to wait to report a missing package when your system clearly indicated it was delivered? I will be waiting to see what customer support has to say in about an hour and a half. Given past experiences, I anticipate a frustrating interaction, likely leading to a refund—something they seem to do without actually investigating the delivery issues. It’s utterly ANNOYING. Oh, and let’s not forget about @AmbiePam’s Christmas present that’s still MIA, even though it was supposed to arrive on the 18th of LAST month. Time for some accountability, Amazon!

I've heard about how bad they've gotten.

We didn't get a package that was sent from a friend for Christmas and they re-shipped it with no problem. The problem here is Fed. Ex delivery. They are not reliable in our area. Didn't they do away with the 2 day guarantee?

@thislittlepennyearns I agree a month is over board for delivery unless imported.

You're still supposed to get 2 day shipping or quick shipping. It shouldn't take over a month for something to get to someone.

I haven't had issues with Amazon delivering things.

This is the third one in a month that hasn't been delivered here, and one that hasn't been delivered to Amber. So its annoying. If it was just here, I would say it's a UPS problem or our neighbors are digging though our deliveries again.

@thislittlepennyearns They still could be doing that. As for Amber, are you sure you have her correct address listed on Amazon?

I haven't ordered from Amazon in a few years. Never been that impressed with them. Hope you can get it sorted out with them.

I just requested a refund earlier so I'm waiting on that.

They have had problems, and it is interesting it isn't just a here thing. My last three orders were all very much delayed, and I thought it was just because of the snow and weather we had here. Might be interesting to know if there's a deeper problem happening within Amazon, but I have not heard anything in the news about it.

I've not had any problems with Amazon, other than one item that was delivered to the wrong address. They did replace it right away. I hope your packages arrive soon, it's so frustrating when you can't find out when they will be there.
