I'm In Kentucky While My Luggage is in California

Yep, my luggage made it further than I did. My one bag is in San Francisco, CA. It's been there since Wednesday while I was grounded in Houston, TX. They say it'll be delivered to my house some time today. I highly doubt that. Good thing I had an Apple Air Tag in it or else I wouldn't know where it was!

It’s sad when your luggage has more fun than you do. Hope you get it back. I also hope you get it back SOON, but they’re kind of like the post office: “we’ll deliver it to you when we’re dang good and ready.”

Speaking of the post office . . . I mailed something Priority 2-day delivery Crestwood to my husband's aunt on Monday. 20 minutes later I get a text "Weather Exception. Package delayed." What weather? It still has no updates since Monday. I have no idea where it is.

@LooeyVille — I’ll give you a hint: neither do they. When I worked at the post office the delivery rate was 97% accurate and on time. Now they’re “trying” to get it to 80%. And at three times the price of a stamp from when I worked there.

Sometimes, it is more like "what luggage?"

That would frustrate me. This whole trip sounds like a nightmare to me.

Now my Apple Air Tag says it's in San Francisco but the United Airlines App says it's in Chicago.

Another reason why I have no interest whatsoever in ever flying again.

I once saw a news segment on the store that sells things from the luggage the airlines never return to their owners.

I believe it. Some people don't have a conscience.

@Looeyville that happened to me a couple of times. My bag was said to be in Turin but it never left London. Then my bag and I got separated during a plane change in Moscow. I got to Delhi but my bag got to Karachi and had to return to Moscow to be redirected to Delhi. Compensation for the 5 day delay was US$12!!

I know the feeling. Sometimes, I think they do it on purpose. Once I was in San Francisco. I asked the employee at the airport where my luggage was. He said it was in New Jersey. Great! I had to borrow clothes to wear to a wedding. I think I saw a quick smirk on his face, but can't prove it.

We've just purchased Apple Air Tags. That's a good use for one of them.
