I Did It.

My goal is to walk 8,000 steps a day. But I plan to increase it to 10,000 steps on February. This is the usual recommendation of the doctors for us to be active. Me having flu hindered me in walking for 2-3 days though I tried walking 15 minutes yesterday. But today I pushed myself a bit harder. After buying our food in a nearby small supermarket, I walk while watching Netflix series. Time passed by fast when you walk while watching. So yeah, I walked for more than 8,000 steps.

That's very good; but don't ignore taking a little rest from time to time.

Congratulations. I should try watching NF while walking. There is no TV in the room, but I could take the Kindle in there.

I walk a lot at work throughout the day, so it is not uncommon for me to walk 13,000-15,000 steps every day. I hope you are able to meet your goal!

It is great that you are walking that much! I want to achieve that as well. Walking is basically my main exercise

@rakski I guess that with as much walking as I do at work, it should be considered my main form of exercise. But I also workout at the gym on a regular basis, so I consider that my main way of exercising.

Just don’t do anything to set yourself back. You were feeling pretty rough yesterday.

My doctor tells me I should not do more than 6 minutes of walking at a time.

oh okay. what is the reason behind that? The first doctor who examined me when I first knew I had hypertension told me to sleep more than 6 hours and stand and walk 5 minutes every hour of complete sitting down

Just don't hurt yourself. You may need more rest cause you've been ill.
