Getting ready for snow, but hopefully no ice

I know many of you are having much colder weather than us, but here in eastern NC, these temps in the 20s and 30s are awful.
This week is looking to be worse. We're hoping to go to Raleigh Tuesday (a hundred miles) to pick up eye glasses for Dale and check my new hearing aids. We also want to see our grandson Josh who lives there.
But it all depends on the weather.
I'm waiting for results for three different medical tests...please say a prayer they'll all be negative. Thanks, y'all. Love you guys.

I'm not ready for this arctic blast here either. We have temps in the 20's and teens in the forecast, so will see single digits with the wind chill. We also have ice and up to 5 inches of snow predicted. It's hibernation time!

I made a pot of chili today and just had a nice nap. I'm thinking about making a cup of spiced tea. Stay as warm as you can!

@1creekgirl We are going to try! I am fixing to go get a cup of tea also. I bought a new blend the other day and I think it was chocolate peppermint flavored. Going to see how good (or bad) it is!

Praying your results are negative.
We're dealing with cold and rain today but tomorrow snow expected. Then the temperatures will plunge and I'm hoping it's not too bad as it's hard enough dealing with the frigid temps without having to hassle a snowstorm too.

The weather is making my head feel like I have rocks in it, There was some warmer air today and then the nights are going to be back in the 40s again, I will put you in my prayers and hope all will be well,

I just finished my first week of wearing prescription glasses, prior to that I used readers. I am in love with my new glasses!
We've had a colder than usual winter so far. I was just telling my daughter we've had more days with lows in the 20s this winter than we've had in the last five winters combined.
I'll keep you in my prayers, both in the hopes of your test results and for safe travels.
