Money Tree I think is an important symbolism with Chinese that is said to bring good fortune and wealth. And since Chinese New Year will be celebrated soon, you can see a lot of decorations at the malls. The red is an important color for them as well and they usually give red envelope in important occasions and events. The red envelope contains money inside of it.

What? There are trees in the US that give money every Fall. We pick up Black Walnuts and Hickory nuts and sell them to vendors who sell the nutmeats and earn their living for the next year from them. I picked up truck loads of walnuts and hickory nuts when I was young and sold them for spending money.

Oh yeah and not to mention all the lucky charms, good luck charms and other 'fortune attracting' ornaments or 'fortune enhancers' from bracelets, necklaces, rings, to buddhas and frogs, lucky coins etc. Name them, you got 'em! They're all over even foods!!

Wow the one you shared in your photo is gorgeous! I’ve never seen a tree like this. Looks like a lot of symbolic things for your culture in that tree.

It's not actually my culture per se since I'm not Chinese but many of them live here so we adapted to their celebration and culture as well
