Mom and her thinking chair

Philippines
January 19, 2025 6:03am CST
Good evening, I almost forgot about this picture of mom on our overnight stay at the beach. It was December 23 and everything is freezing . We need this kind of relaxation and peace, far away from the noise of the city. One thing we cant do to her is for her to quit smoking. She's smoking ever since , and no one can make her stop. Lotters and readers , I want to know do you enjoy overnight stay in a resort ? And do you pick a place where you can think and be peaceful?

is there supposed to be a photo attached? To ask someone to quit smoking is difficult to do. It should be them to decide on it

Yes, I like an overnight stay in a resort when I am in the Philippines. Just sitting on the beach and thinking of nothing is awesome for me to relax.

Cannot see any photo with this. I sometimes go to a resort and stay alone. Far away from the crowd. And I like going alone so that I can be at peace. Besides going alone I sometimes go with family.

I love resorts, over night stays and travel in general, so I say YES! You mom will not stop smoking until she *wants* to! I'm sure she knows all the dangers and health risks. Maybe if the family shared with her what it would mean to them for her to stop smoking that would make her think about it more and possibly want to quit? That's a tough one there. I had an uncle with lung cancer and he smoked until he couldn't handle inhaling anymore. Very sad!

She sounds like my daughter. She has been smoking for 40 years. It has been very hard to quit.
