Whats the last thing you do before you wind up for the day

To do or not to do

After I finish all my online work I sit with my daily planner and write down the list of things I have to do the next day. This gives me an idea of when I must be online to finish my work. Monday mornings I have to attend a zoom meeting. Since tomorrow I have to prepare some things for the meeting (as I was too lazy today) I will have to start working at 7 in the morning so that I am well prepared to give my report when the meeting begins at 9. After I finish my to-do list, I do some chores and clean up the kitchen. Also, check if any meal prep is to be done for the next day. Very often I don't get time to prepare lunch so end up having any left overs from the fridge or else prepare something the previous night. Whats your routine at the end of the day ? Thats great. Was always fascinated by the language. Have you just started learning or an expert in it already ?

@Shivram59 Thats great. I had once come across a website that taught Grammar. Have you seen that? May be you could get some more information there.

@mayka123 I had been fascinated by Sanskrit since my teenage; but didn't know how to study it.Our teacher used to start teaching it directly from grammar. It was a difficult and impractical way to teach any language in the world. Finally I found a book written by a great Sanskrit scholar.I purchased it and my study began. The book is in Hindi and is in two parts. Now I'm studying Sanskrit grammar.

That is a good habit to get into!! I usually do a sweep in the kitchen also and clean up the dirty dishes from between dinner and bed time from snacks, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.

@kareng I am trying to be organized. When it comes to work, I may be a bit organized but when it is maintaining the house, unfortunately I am not at all organized; Need to improve on that.

I do my chores in between my work since I work from home. Usually after dishes I once check my laptop (which is on from the time I wake up till I shut it down at night) and then sit with my to-do list.

Soak in the tub, then get in bed and read or watch videos (or both) until I’m sleepy, then off to sleep!

Watching videos does not keep you awake ? Sometimes while watching movies we tend to lose track of time.

@mayka123 — it depends. Sometimes I do lose track of time, but mostly I pick things that relax me, like nature scenes.

@FourWalls Nature scenes relax me too. But I usually avoid watching anything at night to make sure I don't stay awake whole night.

I don't usually write out a to-do list but I run through in my mind what I want to accomplish.

For my house chores, I don't write any to-do list. The list is only for my official work.

Wow, that's so nice, It is really relaxing to plan your day. I always have my planner with me so I will not forget what to do in a day, or to write down all my thoughts and schedule for the next few days... But what I really do after work is eating and watching korean drama.. but I am back to reading again, so when I have time I read most of the time, nd back to kdrama, and back to reading. Heheheh. Thanks for asking.

I will close my eyes to review on the day, to reflect what had I done well and what I could have done better.

Well, thanks to your post , I will now rework on my to-do list strategies. I used to create the to-do list after waking up in morning and not before going to bed. The demerit in that case is thereare things I could forget things in morning and sometimes I might remember in the middle of things. So , now I have a better strategy to tackle things. As far as my current routine goes , I usually try to evaluate what went right and went wrong in the day and how productive I was. It is always going to be critical and yet to see days which are great in my mind. But it helps in cutting out some inefficiency in things. Take care!
