We woke up to very strong winds here today with gusts of up to 20mph. Pair that with 40 degrees outside and you get a feels like freezing!
Duke is playing lazy and refuses to come out of his kennel. He hates cold weather and also wind, so he is being stubborn. Fixing to pull him out which makes me have to crawl inside the kennel to reach him in the far back. Fun! NOT!
The temperatures have already started plunging and will bottom out around 20F here. That could put us in the single digits for the night. Monday's high is 40F with sunshine, which will be very welcome. We don't have any precipitation in the forecast until Tuesday morning around 2 am when the snow starts coming down. We are expected to get up to 5 inches of snow with the white stuff coming down all day long and into the night.
Our low for Tuesday night is projected at 12 F, I am usually a few degrees cooler, since I am north of that area where forecast is actually for. I'm not looking forward to these temperatures at all.

Unless you don't know any better, I don't think anyone likes the cold. People or animals.

Today is remarkably colder than yesterday was.
I just noticed a very fine snow falling here.
All of the rain that we had yesterday morning melted alot of the snow, but now all of it.
I have to work downtown in the office this week and they are doing construction in the area of the tower that I work in.
I have to do a practice run to see if another route will get me there without the hassle of the road closure caused by the construction. Plus I forgot to get sour cream with the groceries yesterday and we are out, I am also out of mushrooms and I plan on making steak this week and what is steak without fresh mushrooms.

I can relate to what you are saying since it is windy outside right now. The snow will come around Tuesday morning which is the day that the city sanitation is supposed to pick up the garbage.

It’s awful here; however, the weatherman said that OUR arctic blast helped push cold air into the Deep South to keep the possibility of a major ice storm minimized. Thank God, I’ll put up with it for a few days.
