I have had a taste of physiotherapy when I had that ghastly accident a few years ago. Some exercises I am still expected to continue.
At the moment I have developed yet another issue that requires a totally new approach I had the Physiotherapist over yesterday and he has suggested a whole lot of new moves
The side effects are not so pleasant but hopefully they are temporary
I have not consuslted an Orthopedic but just talked to my usual doctor and he has recommended that I take a supplement for my bones - CCMD3
A Physiotherapist will not prescribe medicines nor will he examine you and bases his recommendations on what the patient tells him and what if the patient has consultant an Orthopedic.

Guess you would have to consult an Orthopedic doctor and have a look at your present conditions. You could mention the exercises you are doing and the exercises suggested. He could also suggest the medicines as needed. Physio may suggest exercises based on what you mention , but physio may not know the underlying conditions or what is required to improve. It is not just the bones ,the nerves and the muscle need to support everything. And the conditions and challenges could be different for each. So , perhaps visting an Orthopedic doctor and clearing everything would be better. Take care!

You hit the nail on the head and thank you for it. The exercises suggested will take care of the joints, muscles and nerves. I will do that for 10 days and then if there is no improvement will consult an Ortho...
Ortho.. means so many tests and they are quite cumbersome for a patient.

@allknowing Even if there tests , we will know the ground reality. It is cumbersome but then we can be at peace with the situation

I experienced this one too Yes, they won't prescribe meds. I stopped going to the clinic because of the needles.

I have arthrosis and this is one of the ailments that don´t have a cure. So the doctor gives me pain pills (the government covers this illness) and therapy. I made my math and discovered that Martín as a therapist is cheaper than the free therapy due to the Uber price to the therapist. So it seems that I will forget about government paid therapy and have Martín come to my house.

I just bought those sandals - MCR - which help in some way. And then I also bought the one kg weight cuff to be tied to the ankle for the leg lifting exercise.
Degeneration has no cure but physiotherapy can help strengthen,
