I've just been to the little Tesco this morning. It's dull again here, but not raining. Mum was expecting a phone call from the doctor's to talk about her medicine review, so she left the club card, money and shopping list on the coffee table for me. As it was, I picked them up before she went into the dining room to wait for her phone call, and went to get ready to go to the shop.
I put my gloves on because I knew it would be cold out. First, I went to post Wynne Evans's birthday card. His birthday is on Monday 27 January, the same day as his new programme, Wynne and Joanna: All at Sea, first airs on BBC1 at 8:30pm. I know he won't get it for a while because he's on the Strictly tour till sometime in February, but it will be there waiting for him when he comes home.
After I'd posted Wynne Evans's birthday card, I continued to the shop. There were 3 people talking just before the car park entrance and the place where I cross over to go to the shop. One of them had 2 dogs, a dachshund and a Scottish terrier. As I was passing them, the Scotty dog tried to get to me, but his owner pulled him back on his lead. He was very sweet.
I crossed over the crossing, entered the shop and I took off my gloves. I went and got the TV magazines first, as usual, then I went and got some cakes from the freshly baked section. And guess what I got? Yes, that's right! Chocolate croissants! I hope my Mum and Syd are not getting fed up with them! Then I got a bounty bar for Syd.
Next I got some strawberries, just 1 lot today, and then I went to look for some decaf coffee, but couldn't find any again. Then I got myself another notebook.
After that I got 2 bottles of milk and some honey roast peanuts. Then I went to pay. It came to just over £16. I payed. Then I put my gloves back on and went home.
When I got home I gave my Mum her change, club card and shopping list. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away.
Homes Under the Hammer is about to start. It's on 15 minutes later than usual at the moment because of Rip of Britain!
What are you lot getting up to today?
I hope you are well.
Have a nice day.

We went to the movies at the club room tonight and watched Green Room. We both enjoyed it very much.
