She died... unpredictable life

Good evening from this side of the planet. It's 8 PM as I write this post.
It was a regular Tuesday at work. One of my neighbour friend has her in- laws stay with them. This elderly couple have a very pleasant appearance and will greet and catch up with a little chit chat whenever you come across them. I would often meet them while walking in the morning or when I leave for my work. Every morning I cross the swimming pool area of my apartment while going to work. They are mostly sitting there on a bench amidst the landscape enjoying the view and getting some sunlight. They were pretty active for the age. Husband being 88 and wife being 81. Today morning too, I came across them and we greeted each other.
After few hours when I returned from the work, I found some hustle bustle near their building. But I came back in a rush as I was expecting my household help. After lunch and few chores, I took my phone to check something. And I saw condolences messages in more than hundreds flowing in the WhatsApp group of the residents of the apartment. I was shocked to see that the elderly pleasant lady with a smile in the morning was no more. After my therapy sessions in the afternoon, I went to see the family with few other friends. And I just came back from their home. The funeral was over by the time I visited and I couldn't see the body.
I guess for me the last image of that lady in green saree smiling and waving at me in the morning will stick to my mind. I can't imagine that she left for heavenly abode in other few hours... life is too short and unpredictable!!!

She was indeed very lovely and warm. I always found her with a pleasant smile. It seems like she had a sudden cardiac arrest while watching some TV after breakfast. She passed away in few minutes.

@snowy22315 Yes. I saw the old man so shattered and quiet having lost his wife suddenly. It would have been their 65th wedding anniversary this March.

@arunima25 Could be the effect of the Covid Vaccine if she has not had issues earlier.

@allknowing Maybe. She was 81 and had few health issues with ageing as normal. But nothing alarming.

That' so sad to hear especially when it was so unexpected. It's nice though, that you will remember her with her morning smile.

Shocking at times! I saw her at 7:45 resting after a walk, smiling and waving. She was gone at 8:15. She had breakfast and watching some TV when she got a cardiac arrest

63 is too young to go. As such parents are never too old to go. Sorry for your loss.
