I finished my jigsaw

I wrote about a new jigsaw I was doing where what you see on the box is not what you’ll end up with once you’ve finished the jigsaw.
I’ve managed to finish it and you can see it in the photo. I’ll post a photo of the box of the jigsaw in the comments. It was quite difficult to do as there was no ppicture to refer to. It was pretty much all guess work.
However, I managed to get it done. I ended up sorting the pieces by shapes and working from there.

It’s been awhile since I did one, but I really enjoy jigsaw puzzles.

@JudyEv I always start and do all the outside pieces first then go from there. I don’t think looking at the box would help me much. It just doesn’t seem like it would. I looked at the thrift store in town here to see if they had of these puzzles but they didn’t have any. I’m going to keep an eye out as I’d love to find one for my mother in law. If I don’t find any used I’ll buy her a new one when her birthday rolls around. I think that’s in April.

@allknowing If we do 'stuff', we mostly do it together but he doesn't like jigsaws.

It would be very difficult if there is no picture to reference to.

That’s so cute, especially the dog eating the pizza. Glad you finished it!

Your puzzle came out nicely even though you didn't have the box picture to refer to. Wonder how a different puzzle wound up in the wrong box.

It's meant to be like that. The box gives one picture and you have to use your imagination about how the scene would look in 20 years time. That was for this puzzle. Another one I did, you were told the vet had stopped doing house calls and the picture was how he imagined his waiting room. The animals were sitting there quietly. You were told to imagine what actually happened. When the puzzle was finished a big ram had charged through the room and there were animals everywhere.

@JudyEv ok that makes sense. Sounds like a fun way to do a puzzle even if you have no picture to go by., I would be excited to see the finished picture to see if I had guessed correctly. I haven't done a puzzle in many years but a few myLotters have been doing them and I'm thinking I should get back into doing jigsaw puzzles again.

That looks neat. I liked the jigsaw idea that Julia said she gave her hubby for Christmas. When the puzzle was finished it was a real working clock. One that has a practical use for sure.

I've started another 500 piece one now. It's of a thatched cottage in a garden.

Your puzzle looks difficult, with so many colors and designs. You must be good at it especially since they mixed up photos of the puzzle.
I used to do them in my pre-internet days. I enjoyed them. I liked the big ones and bought puzzles with fewer pieces for my kids to work on. Now, I do jigsaws online. I never lose the pieces or get peanut butter on them.

Doing it without a picture to refer will be even more tricky. It's an accomplishment and you must celebrate. How long did you take? It looks like a big one.

@JudyEv That's definitely large. I am sure that you get better with practice and new one should be easy.
