Attended My Friend's Birthday

Last night I went to my friend's village to attend his birthday. He comes from a very humble family and lives with his family in the village 16 kms from our town. He suggested me a different route which does not pass through the jungle and so; is comparatively safe. I left for his village late. It was going to be 11 p.m. His whole family was waiting for me. His mother kissed and blessed me. They had rice; lentils and green vegetables for my dinner. I took my dinner with my friend. His mother brought some pieces of jaggery and a glass of milk for me. I gifted a Rs.4100 cheque to my friend. We talked for about two hours and then I left for home. I reached here at about 2 a.m. Today I woke up a bit late; but it was still an inadequate sleep . Today also I am feeling sleepy and lazy. Now I'm going to sleep early.

@cacay1 No. In fact; jungles make the place beautiful. However in winter wild elephants stray into the jungle in search of food. They attack nearby villages where they find paddy kept in the yards. I love jungles.Every morning at 4.15 a.m.I walk to the jungles and stay there for half an hour.

It's a rural area. There is no airport. You can't go there by a car. It is surrounded by jungles.

Yes; they were very happy as I was the only one who joined him on the occasion. My friend is from a poor family; but he has helped me many times when we were students. Yes; I was completely exhausted. I fell on bed and was fast asleep within minutes.

Of course. I should go to join him on his birthday. We have many common friends here; but none of them went there because of the elephants the jungle. I wanted to purchase any gift for him; but thought he needs money. I knew he will never ask me for money; that's why I decided to give him a cheque as gift.

I was very tired. Completely exhausted. So; I fell asleep within minutes. I had a sound sleep last night. Today I opened my shop late.
