Well, that’s it we’re done for. As much as the saying is “when Hell freezes over” it might include places that have scorching temperatures at some times during the year. So what are we to think now that Florida is freezing over? Freezing and sub-freezing temps are expected for North and North-Central Florida and there is a prediction of up to 8 inches of snow in the Florida Panhandle and a state of emergency has been declared.
Do we blame this on climate change or what?
I even found a photo with snow in Florida and what it looks like

It sn*wed and was 10F in Jacksonville when I was stationed there in 1981. Rarity, but it does happen.

If you and the kitties decide to build a snowman, please be careful... I hope you don't need to go anywhere until the snow is gone.

A couple of years ago we thought the weather was a bit strange but it's really going crazy now.

I guess the cold weather outside that has closed parts of Interstate 10 in Louisiana from the Texas border through New Orleans is related to the weather patterns around the world.

If You remember right when the south got this kind of
winter a while back when they had a # of major wrecks
on the freeway, cause they hardly ever get this kind
of weather & they freak out & not prepare for it.

There is a bigger probability that all of these are happening due to climate change. If we look across the globe , the summers were really hot and winters were bit harsh. There were places which ideally receive less rain got heavy rains including the desert regions. Again , the regions which used to get moderate rain got heavy rains. I am surprised about the snow and cold conditions in Florida. Conidering all these , it is fair to believe the climate change should be the reason behind all these. I hope there is some solution to put in place for climate challenges and hope thats quick. Take care!
