21 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from cold Green Bay, Wisconsin where the temperature is a balmy 1F and the windchill is -23 F. Yeah, we're still cold.
It's been a good day. I didn't go anywhere today. Bible study was called off due to the very cold temperatures, so I got things done here.
I'm thankful for getting my living room flipped. It's not done yet. I decided to get it started when my computer shut down twice. I watched something on television, but soon got bored and decided it was a good time to flip the living room. I still have a lot to get done, but the computer and television are flipped. I still need to get the chairs put in place. I really don't know where I'm going to go with them. I have only one in place. I realized I couldn't move both bookcases because I have knickknack shelves on the wall and the bookcases are too tall for them. I have one moved. I can't move the other. My next-door neighbor helped me.
I'll finish getting it organized tomorrow. I need to. I can't leave it the way it is.
So, that's what I did today. I'm thankful for my neighbor's help in getting it as much done as it is.

Sometimes there is just no other way to fit furniture into a room. Geesh! Glad it was a good day.

I'm thankful I got George to move a little bit. Even standing in frnt of the couch holding my hand. He even looked out my office window. It's to cold and windy for him to go outside today.

A change is nice and I'm sure you'll love it when it's finished. Hopefully you can get it all done soon. It was really nice that your neighbor was able to help.
I'm just thankful that this frigid cold hasn't caused any problems and that I'm fortunate to have a nice warm house,

You got a bit done there 
. Nice of your neighbour to help. I am grateful that it was a good Wednesday here, especially with the weather. I could get a few things done in my garden while enjoying the sun.
