7 hours of tutoring this week

And it may wind up being 8. I just picked up a new student yesterday and he gets 2 hours per week. We are set for today and possibly Friday if his schedule works out. The new student is for biology which makes my life easy. If I do just the 7 hours then it is an extra $320 earned. Another hour would put me at $365. That's not bad for one week. Obviously I am always hoping for class coverages too. I haven't had any yet this week but there are still 2 days to go. We shall see!

Did you ever teach younger kids? Or was it like, oh heck no, give me older kids only, from the beginning.

My first 3 years of teaching were at the intermediate level (8th grade). No thank you.

That's good that you have a new student. How long is he likely to need help for? Several months? The rest of the year?
