We went to the big Tesco again today. We were late setting off because Mum couldn't get one of her slippers off to get her sandals on. She gave me some money, her club card and the shopping list before we set off. When we set off we were 45 minutes later than usual. So Syd suggested to Mum that he return for us at 5:15pm. I posted a letter first, and a birthday card that Mum is sending to someone. Then I got rid of the soft recycle. I waited for my Mum, who was walking really slowly, as usual, and then we went up on the lift. My Mum went and sat on a bench, and I went to do the shopping. I got some flowers first, then I got some art magazines. I got 2 bottles of water, 2 lots of vegan sushi and a salmon poke for tonight's dinner. Then, as it's my brother's birthday at the end of the month, I went to look for some money wallets, but couldn't find any. I went to get some pads for my Mum, and I actually managed to get some today! Way! Then I went to the fruit and veg section. I got some blueberries and spring onions for me and some little gem lettuce and tomatoes for my Mum. She wanted the Tesco finest ones because there's less in and so less chance of them going soft. Then I went round the other side and I got some easy peelers. I checked to make sure I got the best ones, without bruises or mold. Then I got some walnuts for Mum and some Brazil nuts for me. Then I got some bananas. After that I got the milk, my yoghurts and some mini rice puddings for Mum and Syd for their pudding on Sunday. Then I went and got some grated cheese and some mini pork pies. Then I got some tuna and sweetcorn sandwich spread from the end of the isle. Next I went to the vegan and ready meals isle, and I got some chicken dinners for my Mum and Syd for Sunday, and a pizza, 4 packets of meat free bites, some tofu, some vegan pieces and a vegan sweet and sour with rice for me. I went to then end of the isle then and got some cauliflower cheese. Then I went to the ingredients and sauces isle and got a jar of picked, sliced beetroot. Next I went to the pasta, rice and sauces isle and I got 3 lots of Tilda egg fried rice for my Mum and some soy sauce for me. After that I went to the canned isle and I got some potato and leek, and a Golden Vegetable cuppa soup for Syd. Further up the same isle I got a tin of sardines in tomato sauce. Next I went and got some white sliced rolls, and then it was off to the cakes. I got my Mum and Syd some apple turnovers again, then Mum wanted some Viennese Whirls. After I'd got those, I went and got some crisps and pringles. Then I went and got some matcha T-bags for me, and some decaf coffee, some malted milk biscuits for Mum, and some custard creams and some wagon wheels for Syd. Then I went to the frozen section, and I got some mixed veggies for my Mum and some Quorn pieces for me. Round the other side, I got some jacket potatoes, which I had to get down with my walking stick, a big bag of McCain chips, some chicken pies and two posh battered fish. Lastly I went to get some toilet paper for me, and I got an Amazon gift card for my brother, because I can never think of what to get him. Then I went to pay. It came to just over £150. When I'd payed, I went back and sat with my Mum on the bench. I gave her her change, shopping list and club card. It was only 4:25pm when I sat on the bench! I had positively flew round that shop! Now, seeing as Syd wasn't due to come and fetch us till 5:15pm, we had 45 minutes to wait! I went and swapped my book at the Tesco book swap, and came back with a big coffee table style book called "Sydney built an Opera house." It was all about the building of the Sydney Opera House, hence the name, and the book itself was published in 1973! (Wynne Evans was 1 when this book was published and when Queen Elizabeth II opened the Sydney Opera House!) I sat down on the bench again and read some of the book. It was too big to go in my tote bag, so when we got ready to go I put it down the side of the trolley. Then we, slowly, went back down on the lift. Syd was there when we got into the undercover car park, so we put the bags in the boot. I put my big book under my arm, and we went home. When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner. Later I went to put the recycle out ready for tomorrow. My Mum would have been going to the house group tonight, but it's been cancelled this week because they are having a birthday party for the granddaughter of the couple who runs it. That's who the birthday card was for that Mum got me to post. If my Mum had been going to the house group tonight she would have delivered the birthday card in person. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a great night. Nos da.

That book sounds very nice. The opera house was and still is a big deal for Australia.

@sharonelton Your mum doesn’t half seem to send a lot of cards. I forget what all I did today.
