Leslie Schmid who is a resident of Foresthill California witness to a bear that decided to take a swim in her swimming pool which is located in her backyard around Thursday January 9.
Leslie believes that the same beat came to enter her swimming pool in July 2024. On both occasions no one was hurt since the bear just wanted to cool off due to the cold weather in January.
California Department of Fish and Wildlife spokesman Peter Tira informs residents of the area that some bears do not take naps in the winter.
Peter is telling residences to make sure that they do not leave any food and trash in sight since bears want to eat food to survive even if it is in winter.

That’s a smart bear knowing to cool off in the pool.

Bears like the easier side of things. They will come out when they are hungry. Bears don't take naps in the winter huh? Interesting.

I wouldn't know what to do if I saw a bear in my swimming pool.
