San Francisco is preparing for 2025 Chinese New year parade

San Francisco will be having a Chinese New year parade soon. It will be hosted by Joan Chen. Daniel Lurie will be the first mayor to be innaguratd in Chinatown. It will be the year of the snake.

@rakski yes, the local 99Ranch Market had lion dancers when it first opened. There were lion dancers art church last year as well.

@Aquitaine24 since there are lots of Chinese here, the celebration is big. It is now declared as a national holiday. Most mall owners are Chinese and they have big businesses here. We have a Chinatown as well. Malls have dragon dance performers as well

Chinese New Year parade, we will get ours as well but I am not sure when it will be.
