Tomorrow is the busiest day of the week

The photo has nothing to do with the post. It was taken at the dog cemetery near Corrigin in Western Australia. I spoke about a German saying about making an elephant out of a mouse. We have a free paper here called Have A Go and it’s aimed at seniors. There is a lot of good information in it plus helpful articles. Today’s editorial was about making plans and to-do lists for the new year. Procrastination was also spoken of. The editorial mentioned that the Spanish have a saying that ‘Tomorrow is the busiest day of the week’ and isn’t that just the truth? That’s two sayings from other countries. I wonder if I’ll come across a third one. Or maybe one of our readers have a non-English saying to share with us.

Haven't heard of this saying. It truly reflects procrastination.

I'm sure many of us put things off until 'tomorrow', don't we?

To quote the great Warren Zevon, "The sh*t has hit the fan."

@JudyEv Here's the song I took it from. But of course that expression has been around for awhile.

@andriaperry wrote a post about making a list of goals that are short term and longer ones for the whole year. I believe she said she does that instead of a New Year’s resolution.

@judyev There’ll be plenty of time for that sort of thing in the next life, we sometimes say.

Very true. In contrast my mother's father used to tell them 'Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today'.

Oh, I get it now. "Tomorrow" is the busiest day of the week. Took me a minute.
