Life is strange.

I bought a hand-held vacuum with which to clean my car. But aren’t all vacuum cleaners hand held? I hold the vacuum cleaner in the house in my hand - always have, always will. And it seems that a large section of English people are vomiting this week - the winter vomiting bug - and hospitals are feeling the strain. Of course by referring to this affliction as the Winter Vomiting Bug is just a doctor’s way of saying to a patient, “Yes I recognise that your dinner is coming out of your mouth, but I don’t know why”.

Well we do know why, it's because they've caught Norovirus. And our vacuum cleaner (Henry) rolls along the floor while we just push the brush at the end of the hose around.

Could this vomiting disease be NoroVirus? If it is the virus or a new disease, please don't share it. We don't need it here.

Anytime anyone vomits I just say they must have the flu. That seems to encompass everything.

Well, whatever it's called, I hope you and your family don't get it. My grandson is a bit better with the flu, but now our daughter is awfully sick with it.

I love the fancy names doctors give to things they can basically say, "Heck if I know."

I don't know much about this winter-vomiting bug. 2 weeks before I had a viral fever that almost lasted for like 10 days and I did throw up 2 times during that phase. I guess digestion abilities go down at that time.

Sounds like a bad time to be a nurse
