It ain't always as easy as it seems.

I know I sometimes make it sound like restoring vintage loudspeakers is easy. But that's because I have been doing it for years.
It really does require a lot of skill and patience.
In the case of the JBL L-100s I am working on now, I discovered a 14" shaft of veneer that had totally separated from the back of the speaker.
This morning, I glued it down with wood glue, and clamped and taped it with whatever I had on hand.
I think it will be fine in the long run, but it required some thought and planning.
One of my students' Grandmas was ruminating today over drainage issues at her property. She has flooding issues when it rains too much. We swapped stories about planning and execution. I reckon it never ends.
I may have to put a culvert in at the cabin in Montana. But I don't even want to think about that right now.
Wish me luck in getting these JBLs back to their owner.

I have refinished regular wooden furniture and it’s a lot of work. Trying to repair veneer can really be tedious! I’m sure it will look wonderful when you present it to the owner.

I am sure they will look very nice. It's fun to fix up old things and make them new again.

I'll wish you that luck, but I don't think you'll need it.

I have done just a little bit of woodworking and repair. Enough to really admire your skills.

A hydraulic press might help. They tend to be more effective than clamps and tape.

You need a lot of patience and dedication to do what you do, and you have those. Good job!

Patience really is a virtue. I am glad I can turn my natural laziness into patience.
Here's a pretty song about "saying nothing at all." I am good at that.
