My surgery

My daughter and her boyfriend with their new 10 day old daughter gave me a ride to the hospital. I had the surgery. Everything went well and I only stayed one night. The surgeon, his assistant, the nurses and everyone at the hospital was so nice to me. I never have been to a hospital where I didn’t have 1 person to complain about before this!

I'm not sure what kind of surgery you are talking about but I'm hoping you recover from it. Some stiches on drying are super itchy. I often used to put something cold on then like a frozen bag of peas. Often you get creams which help to reduce itchiness. Trust me the itchiness disappear quickly. They're just testing our will power to not itch . Get well soon

Thanks! I had a hysterectomy.. The area’s that itch was where the incisions were made and sealed with surgical glue that I have to let fall off by itself. If I rub cream on I may pull them off which I am not supposed to do.

Thats a great experience. To have everything go weel and the people being nice and also have people to care you while being at hospital. Although this is the minimum requirements from a hospital , it is very few who actually bring that experience to patients these days .Good to know that. Also hope it was a major surgery and that you have less pain or trouble post same. It is always better to recuperate at home than hospital. It should have been little fun riding with your granddaughter although you were travelling for surgery. Well, relax and recover .Take care!

Yes it was! But I couldn’t see my granddaughter because she was in the back seat and I was in the front seat.
