Would You Let AI Choose Your Career Path?

Imagine an AI looking at your skills and interests and then telling you what career you should have. I don’t think I’d ever trust it to decide for me. Sure, AI can look at data and trends, but it doesn’t know what truly makes me happy or what I’m passionate about. My dreams and goals are personal, and I think only I can understand what really matters to me. I just don’t feel comfortable letting a machine make such an important decision for me.
How about you? Would you trust AI to pick your career, or would you prefer to make that choice yourself?

I don't use AI. In fact; I don't know how to use it.

You should try and learn. No harm in knowing how to use. Just open Chatgpt and ask any question you like. You get answers. And you can try it in any language. Type a English work and ask for the Sanskrit meaning or how to pronounce a particular word in English or any other language.

When I was in high school (in the 60s) there was a career test that was given to all the students. My results came back suggesting I'd be a good mechanic... to me that meant working on cars, so I completely ignored it.

I would find it interesting to see what AI might come up with but I wouldn't necessarily follow it. I was in customer service for 30 years.

Of course not! I still have to decide for myself, I mean I really hate it when someone is deciding for me, not AI will change that. I really want to be independent and know what I want... because you know a lot of times I don't know what I want, and I can't let that happened for the rest of my life. I am into praying and knowing myself more and more.
